Texas High School Basketball - Pottsboro can't hold off Burleson
December 28, 2022: Pottsboro, TX 75076 The Burleson Elks basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Pottsboro Cardinals to 49 in the Elks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Elks now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ranchview for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28. Burleson will battle a Wolves team coming off a 69-41 non-league loss to Mexia (Mexia, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 4-11.
The Cardinals (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Corsicana (Corsicana, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Corsicana was nudged by Lorena (Lorena, TX), 50-42, in a non-league contest.
