California High School Basketball - Don Lugo topped by Burroughs
December 28, 2022: Chino, CA 91710 The Burroughs Burros basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Don Lugo Conquistadores to 58 in the Burros non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Burros now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Culver City for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Burroughs will battle a Centaurs team coming off a 60-56 non-league win over Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Centaurs record now stands at 7-7.
The Conquistadores (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against South El Monte (South El Monte, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, South El Monte was defeated by Whittier (Whittier, CA), 52-37, in a non-league contest.
