South Dakota High School Basketball - Canistota topped by Waubay/Summit
December 28, 2022: Canistota, SD 57012 The Waubay/Summit Mustangs basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Canistota Hawks to 56 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilmot for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Waubay/Summit will battle a Wolves team coming off a 60-50 league loss to Langford (Langford, SD). The Wolves record now stands at 0-2.
The Hawks (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Flyers come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Freeman was defeated by Howard (Howard, SD), 61-43, in a non-league contest.
