The Port Allen Pelicans basketball team (Port Allen, LA), was nudged 62-61 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Catholic-B.R. Bears (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Bears now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carroll for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Catholic-B.R. will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 47-38 non-league win over Bonnabel (Kenner, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-6.
