December 28, 2022: Camilla, GA 31730

Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Central Chargers (Macon, GA), 61-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mitchell County upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pelham (Pelham, GA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Chargers clash with the Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA) in a AA Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 6. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 43-41 non-league win over Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA).
