Texas High School Basketball - Cole tipped by Decatur
December 28, 2022: Decatur, TX 76234 The Decatur Eagles basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Cole Cougars to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peaster for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Decatur will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 64-38 non-league win over Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 13-3.
The Cougars (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Shallowater (Shallowater, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Shallowater was nudged by Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX), 54-39, in a non-league contest.
