Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Wheatley Wildcats (Houston, TX) and the visiting Cooper Dragons (The Woodlands, TX), saw Wheatley's basketball squad hold off Cooper by a tally of 77-74.

With the victory, Wheatley improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Village (Houston, TX) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Village lost 63-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Kinkaid (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Dragons confront the Cypress Christian Warriors (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Cooper will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 101-45 non-league loss to Madison (Houston, TX).
