The Corinth Holders Pirates basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Thales Academy Apex Titans to 48 in the Pirates non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Garner for a 4A Conference 26 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Corinth Holders will battle a Titans team coming off a 60-55 non-league win over Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC). The Titans record now stands at 1-10.

The Titans (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC). The Lion come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill was knocked off by Durham Academy (Durham, NC), 72-61, in a non-league bout.
