Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cornersville Bulldogs (Cornersville, TN), 60-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to New Hope (New Hope, AL) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 12-4. New Hope won 71-51 in their recent non-league bout against Summertown (Summertown, TN)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Wayne County Wildcats (Waynesboro, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Cornersville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 64-61 non-league win over Riverside (Decaturville, TN).
