December 28, 2022: Molalla, OR 97038 The Country Christian Cougars basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Gervais Cougars to 41 in the Cougars non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portland Waldorf for a 1A Valley 10 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Country Christian will battle a team coming off a 78-32 league loss to Open Door Christian Academy (Troutdale, OR). The record now stands at 0-3.
The Cougars (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Colton (Colton, OR). The Vikings come into the 2A Tri-River contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Colton dropped by St. Helens (St. Helens, OR), 52-42, in a non-league contest.
