Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Reading tops Devon Prep
December 28, 2022: Reading, PA 19604 Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Devon Prep Tide (Devon, PA), 58-50 in a league bout.
With the victory, Reading upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Red KNights host Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 10-0. Gonzaga won 76-66 in their recent non-league bout against Roselle Catholic (Roselle, NJ)
Next up, the Tide play the Conwell-Egan Catholic Eagles (Fairless Hills, PA) in a Philadelphia Catholic bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Devon Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 74-57 non-league loss to Chichester (Boothwyn, PA).
