December 28, 2022: Chicago, IL 60608 Ellison Lions (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Juarez Eagles (Chicago, IL), 68-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ellison upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Lions travel to Clemente (Chicago, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Clemente won 41-35 in their recent non-league bout against Hancock (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Eagles play the Phoenix Military Firebird (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Juarez will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Firebird go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 54-29 non-league loss to Little Village (Chicago, IL).
