Illinois High School Basketball - Eureka fells Farmington
December 28, 2022: Eureka, IL 61530 Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL), 57-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Eureka upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Augusta Southeastern (Augusta, IL) to play the Suns in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Suns go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Augusta Southeastern won 41-29 in their recent non-league bout against Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL)
Next up, the Farmers play the Havana Ducks (Havana, IL) in a Prairieland bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Farmington will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Ducks go into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 40-33 non-league loss to Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL).
