The Fayette Ware Wildcats (Somerville, TN) basketball knocked off the host Valor Christian Lions (Alpharetta, GA), 55-42 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Ensworth (Nashville, TN). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Ensworth notched a victory over Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, TN), 64-60, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornerstone Prep Academy for a GAPPS - I-AAA Region 1 contest on Monday, January 9. Valor Christian will battle a team coming off a 76-46 league loss to Valor Christian (Alpharetta, GA). The record now stands at 2-10.
