Wisconsin High School Basketball - Flambeau ripped by Lakeland
December 28, 2022: Minocqua, WI 54548 In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Lakeland Thunderbirds basketball squad scored a big 76-50 victory over the Flambeau Falcons.
With the victory, Lakeland improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI) to play the Hatchets in a Great Northern challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Hatchets come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Tomahawk lost 66-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Fall River (Fall River, WI)
Next up, the Falcons play the Birchwood Bobcats (Birchwood, WI) in a Lakeland - East challenge, on Friday, January 6. Flambeau will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
