The Weed Cougars basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Fort Vancouver Trappers to 60 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Battle Ground for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Weed will battle a Tigers team coming off a 88-68 non-league win over Liberty (Hillsboro, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

The Trappers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA). The Hawks enter the 2A Greater St. Helens contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Hockinson was nudged by Shelton (Shelton, WA), 60-58, in a non-league contest.
