Texas High School Basketball - Fossil Ridge can't hold off Lamar
December 28, 2022: Arlington, TX 76012 The Fossil Ridge Panthers basketball team (Keller, TX), was nudged 45-43 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX)
The Vikings now possess a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martin for a 6A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Lamar will battle a Warriors team coming off a 48-41 non-league loss to Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 18-3.
The Panthers (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Haltom (Haltom City, TX). The Buffalos come into the 6A Region I District 4 battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Haltom edged Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX), 67-60, in a non-league battle.
