In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Lamar Texans basketball team scored a decisive 52-27 triumph over the Foster Falcons.

In their next game, the Texans meet the Westbury Huskies (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 18 match, on Friday, January 6. Lamar will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record.
