Texas High School Basketball - Furr nudges St. Augustine
December 28, 2022: Houston, TX 77013 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Furr Brahmans (Houston, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA), by a margin of 63-57.
The Brahmans (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Worthing (Houston, TX). The Colts go into the 4A Region III District 21 outing with a 6-4 record.
The Purple Knights now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Scotlandville for a non-league outing on Friday, December 30. St. Augustine will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 75-43 non-league win over McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 13-2.
