New Hampshire High School Basketball - Gilford overwhelms Kingswood
December 28, 2022: Gilford, NH 03249 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH) and the visiting Kingswood Knights (Wolfeboro, NH), saw Gilford's basketball squad wallop Kingswood by a tally of 73-52.
With the victory, Gilford improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH) to play the Saints in a Division III challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Knights play the Coe-Brown Academy Bears (Northwood, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Kingswood will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 52-51 non-league loss to Belmont (Belmont, NH).
