California High School Basketball - Wilcox routs Gilroy
December 28, 2022: Santa Clara, CA 95051 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), by a margin of 75-54.
The Chargers (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA). The Firebirds go into the Santa Clara Valley - El Camino outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Fremont was trounced by Mountain View (Mountain View, CA), 61-42, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to San Jose for a Blossom Valley - West Valley outing on Wednesday, January 4. Gilroy will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 73-31 non-league win over Cristo Rey (San Jose, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-8.
