The Glenvar Highlanders basketball team (Salem, VA), was toppled 49-40 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA)

The Bulldogs now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a Seminole battle on Thursday, January 5. Liberty Christian will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 67-43 non-league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-6.

The Highlanders (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Three Rivers battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Carroll County was toppled by Narrows (Narrows, VA), 68-58, in a non-league battle.
