Minnesota High School Basketball - Pierz trounces Greenway
December 28, 2022: Pierz, MN 56364 The Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Greenway Raiders (Coleraine, MN), 79-36 in Wednesday's league test.
The Pioneers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Aitkin (Aitkin, MN). The Gobblers go into the AA Section 7 test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Aitkin walloped Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN), 75-28, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Crosby-Ironton for a AA Section 7 test on Thursday, January 12.
