Arkansas High School Basketball - Waldron overwhelms Hackett
December 28, 2022: Hackett, AR 72937 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Waldron Bulldogs (Waldron, AR) and the host Hackett Hornets (Hackett, AR), saw Waldron's basketball squad wallop Hackett by a tally of 81-32.
With the victory, Waldron improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Elkins (Elkins, AR) to confront the Elks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Elks come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Elkins won 71-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Cedarville (Cedarville, AR)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Two Rivers Gators (Ola, AR) in a 3A Region 4 challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Hackett will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 67-45 league loss to Cedarville (Cedarville, AR).
