The Hephzibah Rebels basketball team (Hephzibah, GA), was toppled 65-55 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC)

The Rebels now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laney for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Strom Thurmond will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 62-58 non-league loss to Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.

The Rebels (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Thoroughbreds come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, South Aiken beat Josey (Augusta, GA), 60-45, in a non-league battle.
