The Mt. Pleasant Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Heritage Coyotes to 54 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Independence for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Mt. Pleasant will battle a Knights team coming off a 76-58 non-league win over Forney (Forney, TX). The Knights record now stands at 14-8.

The Coyotes (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Forney (Forney, TX). The Jackrabbits enter the non-league contest with a 18-2 record. In their last contest, Forney was nudged by Independence (Frisco, TX), 76-58, in a non-league contest.
