Texas High School Basketball - Llano crushes Hico
December 28, 2022: Llano, TX 78643 Llano Yellowjackets (Llano, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hico Tigers (Hico, TX), 71-13 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Llano upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-17. Rio Vista lost 44-40 in their recent non-league bout against Keene (Keene, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the De Leon Bearcats (De Leon, TX) in a 2A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Hico will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 41-32 non-league win over Sidney (Sidney, TX).
