December 28, 2022: Edison, NJ 08820 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) and the visiting Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ), saw St. Thomas Aquinas's basketball squad wallop Holmdel by a tally of 85-58.
With the victory, St. Thomas Aquinas improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Seton Hall Prep won 64-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ)
Next up, the Hornets play the Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ) in a Shore A - Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Holmdel will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 46-45 non-league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ).
