December 28, 2022: Waunakee, WI 53597 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Waunakee Warriors (Waunakee, WI) and the visiting Kettle Moraine Lasers (Wales, WI), saw Waunakee's basketball squad hold off Kettle Moraine by a tally of 52-47.
With the victory, Waunakee improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI) to play the Golden Beavers in a Badger - East challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Golden Beavers come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Beaver Dam lost 75-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Mukwonago (Mukwonago, WI)
Next up, the Lasers play the Oconomowoc Raccoons (Oconomowoc, WI) in a Classic Eight challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Kettle Moraine will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
