Kentucky High School Basketball - Knott County Central knocked off by Morgan County
December 28, 2022: West Liberty, KY 41472 The Morgan County Cougars basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Knott County Central Patriots to 51 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bath County for a non-league contest on Monday, January 2. Morgan County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 56-28 non-league win over Berea (Berea, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-1.
The Patriots (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Powell County (Stanton, KY). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Powell County was defeated by Wolfe County (Campton, KY), 66-47, in a non-league contest.
