Maryland High School Basketball - Lake Clifton tops Seneca Valley
December 28, 2022: Baltimore, MD 21213 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lake Clifton Lakers (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD), saw Lake Clifton's basketball squad knock off Seneca Valley by a tally of 62-48.
With the victory, Lake Clifton improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Mergenthaler Vo-Tech (Baltimore, MD) to play the Mustangs in a Baltimore City challenge on Friday, January 6. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Screamin' Eagles play the Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) in a Montgomery 4A West challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Seneca Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 67-48 non-league loss to Liberty (Sykesville, MD).
