Illinois High School Basketball - Richwoods nips Lake Park
December 28, 2022: Roselle, IL 60172 Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL), 48-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Richwoods upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Boylan Catholic won 65-44 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL)
Next up, the Lancers play the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) in a DuKane bout, on Saturday, January 7. Lake Park will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 56-42 non-league win over Mesa (Mesa, AZ).
