California High School Basketball - Making Waves Academy ripped by Las Plumas
December 28, 2022: Richmond, CA 94806 In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Las Plumas Thunderbirds basketball squad scored a big 72-33 victory over the Making Waves Academy Marlins.
With the victory, Las Plumas upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Trinity (Weaverville, CA) to play the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Trinity won 55-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Bragg (Fort Bragg, CA)
Next up, the Marlins play the Contra Costa Christian Cougars (Walnut Creek, CA) in a Bay Counties - General challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Making Waves Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 90-45 non-league win over Valley Christian (Dublin, CA).
