Virginia High School Basketball - Yorktown fells Loudoun County
December 28, 2022: Arlington, VA 22207 Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA), 63-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Yorktown upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Osbourn (Manassas, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Osbourn won 84-67 in their recent non-league bout against Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA)
Next up, the Captains play the Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) in a Dulles bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Loudoun County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 74-69 non-league loss to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA).
