Mississippi High School Basketball - Scott Central topped by Louisville
December 28, 2022: Forest, MS 39074 The Louisville Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Scott Central Rebels to 41 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pillow Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Louisville will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 57-41 league loss to Starkville Academy (Starkville, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-4.
The Rebels (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Velma Jackson (Camden, MS). The Falcons come into the 2A Region 6 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Velma Jackson prevailed over Leake Central (Carthage, MS), 46-40, in a non-league contest.
