December 28, 2022: Ottawa, IL 61350 The Ottawa Pirates basketball team (Ottawa, IL), was routed 61-28 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL)
The Cadets now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kaneland for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Marmion will battle a Knights team coming off a 71-41 non-league win over Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Knights record now stands at 12-1.
The Pirates (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians come into the Interstate Eight battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Sandwich trounced Lisle (Lisle, IL), 58-45, in a non-league battle.
