Kentucky High School Basketball - Shoals knocked off by McLean County
December 28, 2022: Calhoun, KY 42327 The McLean County Cougars basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Shoals Jug Rox to 38 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cougars now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owensboro for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. McLean County will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 66-44 non-league win over Trinity (Whitesville, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 7-3.
The Jug Rox (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Loogootee (Loogootee, IN). The Lions enter the Blue Chip contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Loogootee ran past Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN), 41-38, in a non-league contest.
