In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX) basketball squad felled the host Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX), by a margin of 54-41.

The Tigers (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX). The Spartans go into the non-league outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Pebble Hills was beaten by Franklin (El Paso, TX), 63-37, in a league outing.
