Georgia High School Basketball - Walton crushes Mount Paran Christian
December 28, 2022: Kennesaw, GA 30152 Walton Raiders (Marietta, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA), 80-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Walton upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Cherokee (Canton, GA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Cherokee won 60-47 in their recent non-league bout against Effingham County (Springfield, GA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Walker Wolverines (Marietta, GA) in a AA Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Mount Paran Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 75-25 non-league win over Cross Keys (Atlanta, GA).
