California High School Basketball - Murrieta Mesa tops Paloma Valley

Murrieta Mesa Rams (Murrieta, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Paloma Valley Wildcats (Menifee, CA), 79-63 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Murrieta Mesa upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Rams host King (Riverside, CA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 6-4. King lost 69-59 in their recent non-league bout against Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Canyon Springs Cougars (Moreno Valley, CA) in a Inland Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Paloma Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 69-46 non-league win over La Sierra (Riverside, CA).
