Illinois High School Basketball - Oak Forest tipped by Willowbrook
December 28, 2022: Villa Park, IL 60181 The Willowbrook Warriors basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Oak Forest Bengals to 73 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Warriors now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leyden for a West Suburban - Gold contest on Friday, January 6. Willowbrook will meet a Eagles team coming off a 68-59 non-league loss to Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.
The Bengals (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Glenbard East was nudged by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 77-52, in a non-league contest.
