Virginia High School Basketball - Stuarts Draft can't hold off Orange County
December 28, 2022: Stuarts Draft, VA 24477 The Stuarts Draft Cougars basketball team (Stuarts Draft, VA), was nudged 51-46 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA)
The Fighting Hornets now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monticello for a Jefferson battle on Tuesday, January 3.
The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets come into the Shenandoah battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Wilson Memorial edged Liberty (Bedford, VA), 67-43, in a non-league battle.
