December 28, 2022: Little Falls, NJ 07424 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ) and the visiting Pompton Lakes Cardinals (Pompton Lakes, NJ), saw Passaic Valley's basketball squad knock off Pompton Lakes by a count of 57-45.
With the victory, Passaic Valley upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ) to play the Indians in a Big North - Independence challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Wayne Valley lost 52-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Eastern Christian Eagles (North Haledon, NJ) in a Bergen/Passaic - Carpenter challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Pompton Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 73-61 non-league win over Waldwick/Midland Park (Waldwick, NJ).
