December 28, 2022: Wheaton, IL 60187 The Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Peoria Lions to 38 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Park for a DuKane contest on Saturday, January 7. Wheaton-Warrenville South will battle a Lancers team coming off a 55-35 non-league win over Perspectives-IIT/Joslin (Chicago, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 10-2.
The Lions (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Island (Rock Island, IL). The Rocks come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Rock Island was defeated by Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL), 59-39, in a non-league contest.
