The P.K. Yonge Blue Wave basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Vanguard Knights to 46 in the Blue Wave non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Blue Wave now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olympia for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. P.K. Yonge will battle a Titans team coming off a 61-54 non-league win over Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY). The Titans record now stands at 9-0.

The Knights (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Covington Catholic was nudged by Olympia (Orlando, FL), 61-54, in a non-league contest.
