California High School Basketball - Shasta can't hold off South Tahoe
December 28, 2022: South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 The Shasta Wolves basketball team (Redding, CA), was nudged 42-40 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA)
The Vikings now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McQueen for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. South Tahoe will battle a Lancers team coming off a 69-47 non-league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Lancers record now stands at 5-5.
The Wolves (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Damonte Ranch was nudged by Carson (Carson City, NV), 50-46, in a league battle.
