The South Cobb Eagles basketball team (Austell, GA), was overwhelmed 64-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA)

The Panthers now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Douglass for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. Southwest DeKalb will battle a Astros team coming off a 67-65 non-league win over Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Astros record now stands at 6-7.
