Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) and the visiting Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), saw Damonte Ranch's basketball squad hold off Lowry by a tally of 46-41.

With the victory, Damonte Ranch improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV) to confront the Miners in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Bishop Manogue won 69-20 in their recent league challenge against Galena (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Buckaroos confront the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Lowry will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
