Illinois High School Basketball - Hyde Park tops Westinghouse
December 28, 2022: Chicago, IL 60637 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Westinghouse Warriors (Chicago, IL), saw Hyde Park's basketball squad knock off Westinghouse by a tally of 40-28.
With the victory, Hyde Park improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Morgan Park (Chicago, IL) to play the Mustangs in a challenge on Saturday, December 31. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Morgan Park won 48-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL)
Next up, the Warriors play the Kenwood Broncos (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Westinghouse will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 23-17 non-league loss to Westinghouse (Chicago, IL).
