Illinois High School Basketball - Roanoke-Benson ripped by Amboy
December 28, 2022: Amboy, IL 61310 The Amboy Clippers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Roanoke-Benson Rockets to 26 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Clippers now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Serena for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Amboy will meet a Huskers team coming off a 31-23 non-league win over Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Huskers record now stands at 10-6.
The Rockets (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hall (Spring Valley, IL). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Hall was routed by Serena (Serena, IL), 31-23, in a non-league contest.
